So, after about three years of living in this land down under, and after dealing with much red tape in the interim, the Australian government has finally decided to let me make it official.

I’ll be taking my pledge on the 29th October, 2008. Even though I’ve already been accepted, until that pledge ceremony actually takes place, it’s not official.

It’s a bittersweet-win. Awesome, in that this will open up so many doors to me. But it also feels like another door, somewhere, is being closed. And to you old Saffa readers here, I know you’re going to give me a hard time about this…
