So who is Matt Burgess anyway?

Hmmm. Well, that’s not exactly a small question, is it?
I guess, in simplest form, the answer is I’m a 27 year old guy, originally born in South Africa… but I’ve been living in Australia for the last 4 years or so.

I’m interested in a couple of things, but mainly my passion is music; which I write about over at Burgo’s Music Blog. My day job resides in the world of SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), and I currently do this inhouse for a fairly large company. I’m learning all the time, and expect to hear more about this.

Obviously Social Media is a love of mine (as you may have been able to tell from past posts on this blog).

I’m currently a member of the Brissie Search Marketers Meetup group, and can often be found at their (all too infrequent) meetups, so feel free to come along to one if you’re interested in learning more.
