Apparently, the DMCA extends to live, legal recordings. This is pretty big if this turns out to be true, and is some seriously bad news for music blogs folks (such as mine, Burgo’s Music Blog… yes, shameless plug). Hopefully this is just a case of some over-eager interns sending out these notices without thinking it through properly… or where does this leave the indispensable archive.org? Worrying…
Oh… and in completely unrelated news, it’s my Australian citizenship ceremony tomorrow.
